Antique Winchester Model 1885 Low Wall .22 Long 24" Octagon Barrel
Description: ****SOLD **** For Sale is a Winchester Model 1885 Low Wall single shot rifle chambered in .22 Long. It features a 24" octagon barrel in #2 profile, fixed blade front & buckhorn rear sights, tang mounted Lyman peep sight, set trigger and straight walnut stock with crescent buttplate. It weighs just a hair over 8 pounds. The bluing is in excellent condition with just a bit of wear on the sharp edges. The colors on the receiver are a little dim. The stocks have a nice grain with the forearm being a little darker in tone. They fit tight to the frame and have no breaks, checks or deep scratches present.
