Antique Winchester Model 1885 Low Wall .32 WCF 28" Octagon with Cody Letter
Description: **** SOLD **** For Sale is an Antique Winchester Model 1885 Low Wall rifle chambered in .32 WCF (.32-20 Winchester). This features a 28" octagon barrel in #1 weight, plain trigger and straight stock with crescent buttplate. The serial number was applied on October 2nd, 1895. It was received in the warehouse on November 20, 1895 and shipped November 29, 1895. A Cody Firearms Museum letter will accompany this rifle. The bluing rates around 60% with the receiver having a medium grey patina. The stocks have a dark oil finish, fit tight to the frame and have no cracks. The only real defects are a chip on the comb and 2" scratch on the left forearm. The bore, while worn, has decent rifling throughout and should still shoot good.
