Serial #110973, .35 Caliber CF (possibly .35 Wesson), 34" heavy barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a great looking rifle, built on a 1919-made High Wall action, and has a smooth dark gray patina mixing with original blue along the unmarked barrel. The receiver, breechblock, hammer, and finger-rest lever, have 95-97% of a vibrant color case-hardened finish remaining that has faded slightly along the edges, and bearing surfaces of the lever. The smooth forend and straight-wrist buttstock with rounded cheek-piece have beautifully figured walnut, with virtually no handling marks or blemishes. The rifle is equipped with double-set riggers and a removable wood-side comb extension. A modern globe front sight with lollipop reticle and scope blocks are installed, but no rear sight is present. The action is fully functional and the rifle weighs a hair over 12 lbs. This is a well-crafted High Wall-actioned target rifle that rates fine-excellentcondition overall. FFL or C&R;
