Only 4 HW were built in cal 40-70 B.N. Great one for the collector of Winchester 1885's in rare calibers. It has a #3 oct bbl which has an aging blue. Some wear to the high points. Overall good cond and nice markings. This gun is in the 18k serial range. Receiver is pretty much the antique grey color. There is a tang sight which is orig but re-finished. Stock has a crescent butt. Wood is good cond and nice fitting. Forearm is about the same with a piece missing towards the front on the right. A good collectable rifle.
