VERY ATTRACTIVE 1885 WINCHESTER HW SCHUETZEN RIFLE 32-40 CAL

Description:
This gun features a 30 inch #4 half octagon barrel in caliber 32-40. Original checkered stock with a pistol grip and cheek piece and a helm buttplate. The sights are a mid range folding tang sight and a Winchester wind gauge front. Gun is fitted with scope blocks that the Winchester factory did not put on. Someone else put this scope on the gun. It is on the barrel address and the factory would not do that. Its also fitted with a Winchester B3 marked scope which appears to have very good optics. Overall gun is a sharp clean little gun. The gun also retains about 90% of the original barrel blue. Receiver probably has about 90% original bright blue still remaining. The wood is in generally good condition having about all of the original varnish remaining. Bore is very fine as well and will be a nice little shootable gun for someone.
