VERY RARE WINCHESTER HIGH WALL MUSKET IN 40-60 M CALIBER
Description:
This is an early Thickside High Wall Musket chambered in the scarce 40-60 Marlin caliber. 32 inch round barrel with a very good bright shiny bore. Barrel is a gray/brown patina with sharp markings and original musket sights. Receiver case colors have aged to a gray/brown color. Hammer and lever have slight traces of case colors remaining. Cleaning rod and sling swivels. Nice smooth functioning action. Walnut stocks are way above average for a musket and look good. Also comes with a bayonet. Made in 1888.
