Winchester ~ 1885 Low Wall ~ .22 Short

Description:
This falling block rifle features musket-length stock, post and peep sights, curved steel butt plate and has US "Bomb" stamping.

SOLD

Manufacturer: Post 1919.
Caliber Info: .22 Short.
Chambers: Single shot falling block.
Metal Condition: Very good. Stampings are sharp, and retains blue on the barrel and protected places. There is some shallow pitting on the receiver.
Wood Condition: Very good. May have been refinished but hard to tell. The wood stands proud to most of the metal.
Bore Condition: A little dark but shiny. Good rifling.
Barrels: 28 Inch, blue, with sights.
Triggers: Factory trigger.
Stock: Smooth walnut with straight grip.
Stock Dimensions:
13 - 1/4 inch LOP.
Fore End: Matching smooth walnut with finger groove.
Butt Pad: Curved steel plate.
Weight: 8 lb. - 3 oz.
Sights: Post and peep "iron" sights.
