Description: This 3rd. model, 1885 Musket is generally referred to as the "Winder" musket. It was developed to be used to train the U.S. troops and National Guard units in World War I. It came with peep sights and is marked with a "U.S." and Flaming Bomb" ordnance mark. This rifle is in excellent condition, retaining 95% of the original blue. It has the issued Lyman peep sight and the bor is excellent. It comes with a military type leather sling.
