30 inch octagon No.5 weight barrel chambered in 38-55 caliber with a bright shiny excellent bore. Barrel has the sight dovetails filled and is fitted with a Lyman 438-Field scope. Overall metal is mostly a plum/brown with traces of blue in protected areas. Double set triggers function nicely. Nice functioning action. The Schuetzen stock shows a fair amount of wear to the varnish. Helm style buttplate. "Tuning fork" style palm wrest. Uncheckered forearm. These No.5 barrels are quite scarce. Made around 1905.
