Cal 22 short. Orig sights. Excellent bore. Wood has a fair amount of mars and dings which is typical with the USMC test guns. This gun is stamped "USCCO". I have had a number of these over the years. They generally have fine bores and are scuffed up on the outside. Retains about 90% orig varnish. Rifle style butt plate. On top of the bbl is stamped a date "3-10-36". 24" No.1 full round bbl which retains about 95% dulling blue. Receiver retains about 60-70% orig blue turning dark. Wood is in good shape and has a just a small crack towards the frame. Does not detract from the gun.
