Winchester Model 1885 Single Shot .22 Short (AW65)

Description:

Winchester Model 1885 Single Shot .22 Short caliber rifle. Has an excellent bore. Overall length is 42”. The No. 1 octagon barrel is 25â…ž”. Metal is a smooth brown patina with light freckling along the barrel. Butt plate has rough spots but is presentable. The wood is very good with no cracks or chips. The lever has minor roughness. Action functions correctly. The nice .22 Short Winchester single shot is circa 1889. .22 Short rifles from this era that have excellent bores are few and far between. Add it to your collection or shoot, or both! This is a miracle gun with such a fine bore.
