"Serial number 125171. Made in 1902. 45-70 caliber with a 24" barrel. This is a special order gun in very good condition. The barrel has been replaced and marked as if it was original. It is in excellent condition as it is near new. The frame is mostly patinaed. The wood is plain grade wood in a pistol grip configuration with checkering. The wood has had a coat of varnish added. Sling Eyelets were also added. The stock has also been shortened by about an inch and the original butt plate is replaced. Action works well and bore is excellent. This gun has a factory letter confirming the configuration. While this gun has a restored barrel, this is rare gun in very good condition!
