This Model 1886 has a 26 inch octagon barrel with full magazine and rifle style butt plate. Bore is good but could benefit from a good cleaning. Strong original thinning blue remains between the barrel and mag tube. Balance is a plum/brown color. Forend cap still retains original blue. Receiver is a mottled brown/grey patina. Wood is solid and still proud to the metal. Action is crisp and sharp on this antique serial numbered gun in a very desirable and usable caliber. Gun was made in 1893.
