For sale is a restored Winchester 1886 rifle caliber .45-90WCF with a rare 26" 1/2 octagon barrel made in 1924. The metal finish is mostly original with some light mottled areas on the barrel and faded finish on the forend cap, magazine band, and lever. The bore is bright with like new rifling. The crescent buttplate shows some light area at the toe and heel. The replacement wood sports some nice figure with no cracks, chips, or dings. The action is tight and functions as designed with the hammer at full cock when levered and half cock operational. Accuracy is excellent with both jacketed and hard cast bullets. Ensure your FFL will accept a transfer from a private individual. If a FFL shipper is required add $25 to the sale price. Shipping is via UPS ground, insured and tracked for $80. No sales to California or Hawaii. Alaska will require additional charges.
