The metal finish is mostly original with some light mottled areas on the barrel and faded finish on the forearm cap, magazine band, and lever. The bore is bright and shiny with like new rifling.The crescent buttplate shows some light areas at the heel and toe. The replacement wood is flawless with some nice figure. There are no cracks or splits. The action is tight and functions as designed with full cock when levered and functional half cock. It shoots well and is very accurate
