Turnbull Manufacturing Co Model 1886 Lever Action Rifle in 45-70
This rifle was custom manufactured by Turnbull Manufacturing Company as a Model 1886 in 45-70. Walnut stock and crescent buttplate. It has a 26" full octagon barrel full length tube magazine with a semi buckhorn sporting rear  and Lyman #1 Combination tang sight and a raise white bead front sight. Hand checkered wrist and forend.

Condition:
This rifle is custom made by Turnbull to model the Winchester 1886. Turnbull started focusing on recreating authentic and high-quality firearms based on the original 1886 Winchester design in 2005. This example is chambered in 45-70 and has retained 99% of its original blue with the action, lever, buttplate, hammer, and fore cap have a vivid and exceptional bone color case-hardened colors that Turnbull is known for.The walnut stocks are checkered hand-rubbed deluxe walnut stock and forend and features 24 line per inch checkering. The wood is in excellent condition and shows very little if any use.
