Winchester Model 1886 Deluxe 45-70
Description: ***SOLD*** Winchester 1886 Deluxe rifle in 45-70 caliber S/N 109528 made in 1896 26" half octagon barrel. Bore looks good inside front half, reflective with strong rifling, grooves are darker/rougher from midpoint to frame but still showing some bright rifling throughout. Strong original blue about 90%. Some fading case colors remain on receiver and hammer along with light surface oxidation. 2/3 length magazine tube. Beautiful 3x wood set with little to no wear showing some light surface maintenance over the years, but does not appear to have been monkeyed with otherwise. Deluxe checkering, pistol grip cap, composite buttplate with widow's peak heel. Sights consist of a Lyman ivory bead up front and a Winchester 2 leaf folding rear. Great mechanical functions.
