Winchester Model 1886 Deluxe Rifle 45/70 with Factory Letter

Description:
For Sale is a Winchester Model 1886 Deluxe Rifle chambered in 45/70. This fine rifle features a 1/2 octagon - 1/2 round barrel, 2/3 magazine tube, special order Lyman sights, and shotgun buttstock with Winchester hard rubber buttplate. It was received in the warehouse and shipped on July 9, 1896. The barrel & magazine tube have 90-95% bluing remaining. The left hand side of the receiver is engraved "A.W. Owens" and the case hardening has silvered out. The wood shows a nice pattern with no breaks, checks or cracks present. A factory letter will accompany this rifle.
