Description: Outstanding example of the rare configuration Winchester Model 1886 Extra Lightweight Rifle in 45-90 WCF caliber. S/N 141323 made in 1906 Letters with its 22" round barrel. Full length mag tube. The bore is minty, bright and shiny with strong rifling throughout. This rifle remains in remarkably fine condition for its 118 years, with all original and untouched finishes showing about 95%. There are no cracks, gouges, or other detractors beyond some scattered normal light handling marks and blue wear. Sights consist of a Lyman ivory bead front, flat topped Winchester sporting rear, and Lyman 21 receiver sight. The mechanical functions all appear smooth, crisp, and working perfectly.
