Winchester Model 1886 Lightweight Takedown rifle in 33 W.C.F. caliber
SALE PENDING
Description:
***SOLD***
One of the finest examples of this highly popular and often "conditionally challenged" variation of the '86 that I have ever encountered.
This is an outstanding Winchester Model 1886 Lightweight rifle in 33 W.C.F. caliber with 24" tapered barrel, half mag, and take down feature.
S/N 155807 made in 1918.
Excellent condition inside and out, showing 95% or better untouched original finishes with some scattered light scuffs and oxidation, and a typical underside take down mark.
The bore is excellent and all mechanical functions are crisp and proper.
The sight package consists of a Lyman ivory bead front, Lyman 12s filler plug in barrel dovetail, and a quick release Marble tang sight.
A very crisp and attractive rifle that would be tough to improve upon.
Expedited and fully insured shipping from Alaska in a dedicated foam lined box is an additional $150
