Description: 1890 SEMI-DELUXE PISTOL GRIP .22 WRF CALIBER RIFLE, MADE 1916. This would make a good project gun or be a good candidate for restoration as the receiver serial number is in the 558XXX range and the mismatched rear stock and trigger assembly number is in the 246XXX range. It is a factory checkered pistol grip butt stock with correct Winchester embossed grip cap. Apparently it was reinforced fwith with a thin cross bolt at the very forward part of the checkering pattern. The rest of the stock and forearm are fine with good wood to metal fit. Retains good markings and overall is a very thin aged blue mixing heavily with gray and brown. Original sights and functions okay. Bore is dark and only fair-good at best.
