ANTIQUE WINCHESTER MODEL 1890 RIFLE IN CALIBER 22 SHORT
Description:
24 inch octagon barrel with a bright near excellent bore. The barrel, magazine tube, and slide bar retain about 70-75% original blue flaking to brown. There are a few scratches, some scattered oxidation and high edge wear. The case hardened action is a gray/brown with some case color showing, mostly on the left side and bottom. All markings remain crisp. The walnut stock and grooved forend are good with expected handling mars and dings. Original sights. Mechanics are good. This 1890 rifle was manufactured in 1895 and would make a fine addition to any collection.
