WINCHESTER 1890 2ND MODEL .22 WRF
Description: Winchester 1890 2nd Model. .22 WRF 24" Barrel 5lbs 11oz Mfg. 1907 Steel is in good condition, there are nicks, dings, rub marks and rust freckling. Barrel and magazine tube have much of the original bluing with some freckling. The action appears to have been scrubbed at some point, but is now turning a brown patina. The gun appears to have had a tang sight on it at one time, as the bluing on the tang has not been scrubbed and the rear tang screw is too long and protrudes through the lower tang. Bore is dark with some pitting and strong rifling. Wood is in good condition, with nicks, dings, dents and gouges. She is in good working order and shoots well. I put 50 rounds of CCI ammo through her, shooting at rimfire silhouette targets and had no trouble knocking down the chickens at 25 yards and the pigs at 50. I can't see well enough to shoot iron sights beyond 50 yards.
