Description:
Up for sale we have this gorgeous Winchester Model 1890 deluxe pump action .22 LR. Built in 1926. This rifle is engraved by the world renowned master engraver Angelo Bee whom engraved this rifle in a factory #8 pattern that was offered on these rifles when sold new. You can find these patterns referenced in the "Winchester Slide-Action Rifles: Volume I" book by Ned Schwing. Has an absolutely gorgeous set of wood with beautiful swirly grain. The stock is a pistol grip style with the Winchester cap below the pistol grip. The bluing is a very nice deep blue lustre. There are a few very faint nicks in the barrel near the receiver but overall the finish is 95% or better. Has a factory 24" octagon barrel with an excellent looking bore that has crisp rifling and very little wear. The action is nice and solid. There are engraved patterns throughout the rifle including on the butt plate and the top of the barrel. Has a length of pull around 12.75". Retains the iron sights on the barrel. Overall this is just a very special and exquisite rifle that would make an excellent addition to any collection.
