WINCHESTER MODEL 1890 SLIDE ACTION RIFLE IN 22 SHORT

Description:
Third Model Takedown frame with blued finish with 24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 22 Short caliber. A fair bore with visible rifling that may improve with a good cleaning. Barrel has thinning blue with some scattered spots of light corrosion towards the muzzle that appears to have been cleaned. Original sights. Mag tube is a gray patina and has been cleaned long ago. Receiver has flaked with some blue on the left side while the balance is a brown/gray. Walnut stock is in good condition with some light wear and usage mars. Crescent rifle style buttplate. Nice crisp action that should make for a fun shooter. About 849,000 of these were made between 1890 through 1932 and this one was made in 1922.
