Description: This is the configuration that everyone is looking for! 24 inch octagon barrel chambered in the desirable 44 WCF caliber with full length magazine and a rifle butt with an Antique serial number! Bore shows expected black powder erosion with visible rifling. German silver blade front and sporting rear sights. Metal overall is a dark plum patina turning gray on the high spots with very light pitting and some minor marks. Barrel has light pitting toward muzzle. Nice solid excellent fitting wood shows minor mars and traces of original varnish. An early 10k serial range gun in the most desirable configuration from 1892!
