1892 Winchester Rifle 38-40
Description: Sold 1892 Winchester Rifle in 38-40. Serial number 370,614 manufactured in 1906. 24" round barrel and full magazine tube retain 80 to 85% original blue. The barrel shows normal handling marks and scrapes, the magazine tube has a couple tiny dents (see pics). Receiver retains 50 to 55% original blue with the remainder a brown / gray patina. Original sights. All markings nice and sharp. Very nice bore, I will rate it an 8 on a scale from 1 to 10. Both forend and buttstock are in good condition. Both pieces are still proud (wood higher than metal). Action functions nicely. Must ship to a FFL or Curio and Relics license holder.
