1910 WINCHESTER Model 1892 LEVER ACTION Carbine
Description: 1910 WINCHESTER Model 1892 LEVER ACTION Carbine Manufactured in 1910 in New Haven, Connecticut Here we present a Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Carbine in .32 WCF, made in 1910 in New Haven, Connecticut. As another fantastic design from the mind of John Moses Browning, he sought a new addition to its successful lever action rifle line intended to feature its pistol caliber chamberings. After only two weeks, they produced a developmental rifle form for review based on their preceding models. The rifle was evaluated and eventually set for production to the mass market. Winchester produced upwards to 1,000,000 Model 1892 rifles from a period spanning from 1892 to 1938 out of their New Haven, Connecticut location. This Model 1892 features a 20-inch round barrel chambered for .32 WCF, a great old round for pests and varmints. The top of the barrel reads “MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO./NEW HAVEN. CONN. U.S.A PATENTED OCTOBER 14, 1884”. The breech end of the barrel is marked “.32 WCF”. The overall condition is good. The metal surfaces have a mixed gray patina with some scattered scratches. The markings are clear and legible. The walnut stock is in fair shape, having been carved down significantly at the comb to accommodate the use of the tang mounted aperture sight. Barrel mounted rear sight has been removed. The bore is fair, clean with visible rifling and light spotting throughout. The action on this rifle is excellent. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 20 inches. Caliber: .32 WCF Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL or C&R licensee. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $1150 #7256 SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
