ANTIQUE 1892 WINCHESTER RIFLE

Nice early gun at just over 20k serial number. Oct bbl, full mag, crescent buttplate and cal 38 WCF. A good eye appealing gun with a nice vintage look. Bbl is blue towards the muzzle end and a more brown color towards the frame. Don't quite know if someone has put a little bit of finish on it. No sanding or anything has been done but color is just a bit different. Mag tube has no dents and has an aged color to it as does the frame. There is about 25% blue on the frame with the rest being a silver mostly at the carry point. Nice fitting wood with all 4 corners good. The forearm does not have the often seen crack. On the bottom of the stock behind the lower frame is a brass circle that looks like it may have had a letter on it at one time. Don't quite understand what that was? All in all this is a very nice Winchester 92. Antique 92's and 94's are seen for sale less and less. Here is your chance to own one at a reasonable price. Comes with a copy of a Winchester Letter.
