Antique Winchester Model 1892 38 WCF Rifle, Very Good Bore
Description: Antique Winchester Model 1892 rifle, caliber 38 WCF, in standard configuration of 24" octagon barrel, full magazine, and crescent butt. Serial # 42041, manufactured 1894. Very good condition with 80% thinning and moderately toning blue. Sound stocks with no splits or cracks, never sanded or refinished, no extra holes and no repairs. Smooth action and properly working half-cock safety. Bore is a 7 of 10 with very good rifling, no rings or bulges, just typical black powder scattered minor pitting. Correct front and rear sights. Tight mag tube. Any antique Winchester Model 1892 is a treasure, and this is one solid specimen that has not been fooled with at all. Please have it checked by a competent gunsmith if you intend to shoot it. Antique so it can ship directly to you assuming your local laws allow it. No international sales.
