ANTIQUE WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 RIFLE IN DESIRABLE 44 WCF

Description:
This one has it all. Standard configuration featuring a 24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 44 WCF caliber with a full length magazine. Bore has shine and strong rifling with a few scattered spots of roughness. Sights include a German silver blade front and a sporting rear with a peep folding tang sight. Barrel and magazine tube retain most all thinning blue. Receiver has thinning blue turning a plum  patina. Traces of case colors remain on the hammer and lever. Walnut stocks are overall good condition with several handling mars. Rifle style crescent buttplate. Nice crisp functioning action. This is a second year of production Model 1892 rifle in 44 WCF that has everything you are looking for and would look good in any Winchester collection. A good honest gun.
