Description: FIRST YEAR PRODUCTION (1892) WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 LEVER ACTION .38 W.C.F. (38-40) CAL RIFLE. 24” round barrel with full length magazine and original Winchester Elevator rear sight and Marble No. 3 front. Perfect markings and barrel address. Very nice and numbered in the 23xx early 1892 first year serial range. Most of the original blue remaining on the factory replaced barrel with trademark stamp near receiver where lacks trademark stamp(correct since earlier). Frame with handsome original blue and patina mix. Excellent plus matching stock and forend with the original finish. Perfect working order and very nice bore with crisp rifling.
