SECOND YEAR WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 RIFLE IN 44 WCF

Description:
24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 44 WCF caliber with a very good bright shiny near excellent bore. Sights include a German silver blade front and a modified or repaired sporting rear. Barrel and full length magazine are a blue/brown blend patina with strong original blue in the protected areas. Receiver is a gray/brown with splashes of blue in the protected areas as does the bolt. Hammer and lever have traces of case colors. Good blue on the loading gate. Nice smooth functioning action. Walnut stock set is in good condition but does have a missing sliver on right side at the upper tang as well as some minor scattered dings and impressions. Rifle style buttplate. A classic looking and desirable 44 caliber Winchester rifle that was made in 1893.
