SPECIAL ORDER WINCHESTER 1892 PISTOL GRIP CHECKERED RIFLE IN CALIBER 25-20
Description:
Very possibly one of a kind gun. Unusual features such as a 24 inch octagon take down stainless steel barrel. Caliber markings and address are off to the side and factory tapped to use a scope. Scope is a Winchester Model A5. Sights are folding beech's peep front sight, 3-leaf platinum lined rear barrel sight and folding tang sight. Excellent bore. Magazine tube, forend cap and receiver have nickel finish with most nickel still present. Double set trigger. Special order Swiss buttplate. Nicely checkered walnut stocks with a cheek piece. Most original varnish remains. This is just a beautiful unique gun that was made around 1930.
