STAINLESS STEELED BBL WINCHESTER 92
Description:
Stainless steeled Winchesters are very scarce and this one has the added option of having an offset proof mark on the bbl. What this means is that likely the scope blocks were factory mounted. The Japan black finish is well worn with orig finish remaining towards the muzzle, by the scope blocks and other protected areas. We have noticed that the Winchester stainless steel bbls stay in very good cond and this one is excellent. Receiver has normal flaking for this serial range on the right side. The left side has quite a bit of blue towards the back. A Lyman receiver sight has been added and there is 2 other extra holes. Nice slick action. Good wood with checkering done by some gunsmith likely in the 1950's. Sling studs have been added. There has been a few things done to this rifle through the years but it is a rare gun and fairly priced.
