Winchester Model 1892 “Sporting Rifle" .25-20 WCF — a classic turn-of-the-century lever-gun with plenty of history, ideal for varmint hunting, collector’s display, or nostalgic range shooting. The 24-inch octagon barrel is in good bores condition with mostly bright lands and clear grooves; exterior metal retains much of its original blue, though some high spots show wear and light pitting. The color case-hardened receiver shows a pleasing aged patina; lever is smooth, action tight and functions cleanly. Wood stock has seen character: small dings, a few finish chips, and some discoloration, especially on the grip panel, but remains solid and without major cracks. This rifle features a 7-round tubular magazine, fixed front blade sight and an adjustable rear buckhorn. A great piece for the Winchester enthusiast who appreciates original condition — priced accordingly for its age, character, and limited availability in .25-20.
