Description: #981531, Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine in 32 W.C.F. Made in 1927 with a 20" Round Barrel, This piece remains totally original butt to muzzle, Original front and rear sights, Full length magazine that will hold 11 cartridges, Brass front sight blade, Original and correct Carbine rear sight which is a series 44 sight, Carbine style steel buttplate, All of the screws remain in excellent condition, It is a cool 6 lbs. 2 oz., It retains 20% original barrel blue, The magazine tube at 60%, The original receiver blue at 15%, The original wood finish remains at a strong 65%, The strong point to this piece is the bore condition, The bore is excellent with rifling as sharp as the day it was cut. On a scale of 1 to 10, I will give this bore an 8. This is a nice 92 Carbine in very solid original and mechanical condition. There is a strong chance this Carbine lived its entire life in Northern California and has been stored for about 60 years.
