WINCHESTER 1892 44 CALIBER SRC
Description:
The good news is that it is a 44 cal SRC. This gun has been used. Someone knew they had a good rifle and they used it a lot! The whole gun is a brown color with oxidation throughout. No one has tried to clean it and it has an honest "done that" look. Right down to the fact that it has a split at the bore. I don't know if it had been used to shoot Carp or what? Split is right at the bore coming down to the bbl band. Action is sluggish but all parts appear to be present. Wood has the normal crack off the forearm. Buttstock is off a rifle since it is a crescent buttplate. It does fit well to the frame and both tangs. This would be a great gun to hang over the fireplace! Comes with some sort of letter of history from Mexico.
