Winchester 1892 92 25-20 carbine
Description:
For you who know of this variation no explanation is necessary. This SRC is one of the late and very few Model 92 carbines with a factory ramp front sight. It has NOT been changed. 931228. As collector's know a few were late-builds and were made this way. To say they are scarce is an understatement - in 25-20 it is astounding. 25-20 is alone the hardest to find 92 carbine. This one has great solid wood and a perfect bore to boot and is equipped with a Lyman tang sight. The receiver, as normal on this era Winchester has flaked to white. The screws all appear untouched. A must for any serious Model 92 collector. I have seen only two others in 35 years and they were both in 44.
