PRICE REDUCED!! Antique: Winchester Model 1892 in the seldom-seen W.C.F. 25-20 Caliber. Rifle was manufactured in 1894, serial # 467XX.. Has an octagonal 24" barrel.. Obviously was refinished in the past - noticeable as a few minor rust-pits are still visible. Rifle's bore has fairly crisp lands with cloudy grooves (see picture). It has a smooth action and is accurate, wiith minimum recoil. This rifle is a beautiful display example of a historic lever-action Winchester Model 1892 made in 1894, only two years after it was introduced! ATF's "Antique" class
Many of these low-recoil 25-20 1892's were sold to parents as their kid's step above a .22 rimfire, and it's been said that even deer were brought down by kids using this light, small-caliber lever rifle!
