WINCHESTER 1892 TAKEDOWN RIFLE IN CALIBER 25-20
Description: Special order Takedown rifle with 24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 25-20 WCF caliber. Barrel and mag tube retain about half of their original blue. Sights include a German silver blade front,a buckhorn rear sight and a tang mounted peep sight. Sharp markings and bright shiny bore. Hammer and lever show nice traces of case colors. Receiver has most all of the original blue with some wear to the high points as well as the bottom where it was carried. Wood is in good condition with the usual handling mars for a rifle that was made in 1903. Steel crescent buttplate has silvered out. This is a nice 1892 rifle!
