Winchester Model 1892 .32-20 Carbine
Description: This little Winchester Model 1892 Carbine has an excellent bore and was evidently ordered without the saddle ring. Carbine has custom stippling on the buttstock, both sides and very well done but we have no idea what the pattern represents. I guess it is peculiar to the original owner. Rear sight replaced and barrel shows both the circle P and the WP in the oval proofs - so I guess at one time the factory replaced the barrel. Forearm band is a replacement that had a swivel stud installed at one time (but not on this carbine as the stock is not drilled for a swivel stud). Serial range is 61737x. With all the changes it is still a very nice carbine and will make a wonderful shooter with the excellent bore and chamber! SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
