Description: ************ SOLD TO ROBERT B ************** Very nice condition Winchester Model 1892 rifle, caliber 32 WCF aka 32-20, 24" octagon barrel, full magazine, plain walnut stocks, rifle butt with steel crescent butt plate, open sights, blued and case hardened finish, plain trigger, serial number 199373, made 1899. Barrel and mag tube are 60% fine aged blue drifting to plum. Receiver same with some hints of fire blue on the loading gate. Stocks are sound with no splits or cracks, no extra holes, several nicks dings and scratches from hunting/carry. Action is smooth, hammer tension is light, half cock safety does hold, and does hold at full cock. Correct front and rear open sights are intact. Mag tube is tight with no wobble. Bore is fair/shootable - has decent rifling with some pitting. Traces of case hardening on hammer and lever; butt plate and fore end cap have drifted to a light patina.
