Description: SOLD Pending funds - WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 LEVER ACTION RIFLE 44 WCF Made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1913, This rifle has been refinished at some point in its life. It has a blued finish octagon steel barrel, lever and butt plate. It is fitted with standard walnut stocks and carbine type rear sight in .44 W.C.F. caliber. CONDITION: GOOD as refinished. Barrel Length: 20" and has been cut down from 24" rifling is good with strong lands and groves. The action cycles well and the safety notch is strong. It is fitted with after market sling swivel eyes on the nose cap and at the end of the butt stock which I think takes away from the overall look of the rifle. The cut down shorter barrel of this rifle makes it a good truck or knock about rifle.
