Serial #470376, .25-20 WCF, 24 inch octagon barrel with a good bore that is heavily frosted with very strong rifling. This is the Winchester Model 1892 lever action rifle built in 1908. The barrel and mag tube retain 70-75% original blue finish with silvering on the edges and around the muzzle with a few light impact marks and some scattered freckling. The frame and lever are mostly a pewter-gray with perhaps 10-15% original blue the surface showing some scattered light pitting. The stock and forearm are both solid showing scattered old contusions and use marks. Wood has very tight metal fit. It is sighted with a sporting rear and No. 21 sporting front sight. The action functions properly with a smooth action. FFL or C&R
