Winchester Model 1892 Rifle caliber 25-20 WCF Made 1907
Description: Very good Winchester Model 1892 25-20 WCF caliber rifle, blued and walnut finish, with Winchester crescent steel butt plate, full mag tube, 24" barrel, solid frame, straight grip, made in 1907, very desirable lever action Winchester. These New Haven made Winchesters have become highly desirable collector guns. Fun to shoot this caliber as it has no recoil and is like shooting a center fire 22. Targets, tin cans, water bottles and varmints beware! Stocks generally very good with typical nicks and scratches, most of the original varnish remaining, having a tight & nicely repaired split on the right front of the fore arm. Bluing is very good, having turned a pleasing plummy color with traces of bright blue and traces of case colors on the hammer and lever. Bore is very good and action is smooth/strong with a properly working half cock safety. Original front and rear open sights are intact. No extra holes anywhere. Please have a gunsmith check it over before firing. TERMS: Shipping to the Continental US States will be a flat $40 with insurance optional and additional if requested.
