WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 RIFLE IN 38 WCF
Description:
24 inch round barrel chambered in 38 WCF caliber with a fairly bright shiny bore. There is some light scattered roughness but should still shoot just fine. Original sights include a German silver blade front with sporting rear. Barrel and full length magazine tube retain about 75% blue starting to tone some. Receiver has about 50% blue with some good traces of case colors on the hammer and lever. Traces of fire blue on the loading gate as well. Walnut stocks are in generally very good condition with an old well done repair in the wrist area. Looks good. Rifle style buttplate. Nice crisp functioning action. This Winchester rifle was made in 1903.
