WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 SRC 16 INCH TRAPPER IN 38 WCF

Description:
16 inch round barrel carbine configuration chambered in 38 WCF caliber with a bright shiny bore that has a few spots of light roughness. Sights include a pinned blade front with a folding ladder carbine rear. Barrel and full length magazine tube are gray and appear to be a victim of poor storage. Receiver is also gray with very fine pinprick spots from poor storage. Loading gate is a gray/blue. Hammer and lever are a gray/brown. Saddle ring is present. Crisp functioning action. Correct short forearm is pretty smooth with a little staining. Buttstock shows some handling mars with 5 possible "achievement" marks on the wrist with a carbine style buttplate. This handy little Winchester should be a good shooter and was made in 1917.
