This 25-20 Winchester Model 1892 SRC lever action rifle, manufactured in 1906, has a 20” tapered round 7/8” to 5/8” barrel mounted with a Marbles fold down rear sight and a blade front sight. The bore has good rifling with some scattered light frosting. There is a section of deep metal scratches on the outside of the barrel in front of the receiver. The left side of the barrel is stamped with 25-20 W.C.F. and Manufactured By The Winchester Repeating Arms Co. New Haven, Conn. USA. Patented October 14, 1884. The Walnut butt stock with metal Carbine butt plate and forend are attached to the receiver that is mounted with a saddle ring. The action is smooth and tight. The upper tang is stamped with Model 1892 – Winchester – Trade Mark Reg. in US Pat. Off. This rifle is in good condition with the exception of usage dents, dings and a darker stain in the wood on the comb of the stock. Please Note: All metal parts, including the receiver, have been Parkerized. The length of pull is 12-3/4”, overall length is 37”, and the weight is 6 lbs. Our stock number is C271
