Description: ***SOLD*** Excellent condition Winchester 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine in 25-20 W.C.F. caliber. S/N 838014 made in 1917 20" tapered barrel with an excellent, shiny bore. 98% original blueing on barrel, 2/3 length mag tube, lever, and buttplate. Receiver shows typical areas of flaking. 97% Varnish with a few light handling marks and a small mar by lower tang. The buttplate is a steel rifle style with widow's peak heel. There are period correct sling swivel studs present on the barrel band and stock toe line. Sights include a pinned brass bead front and 200 yd. ladder rear. Mechanical functions are excellent.
